Guest healium
Just got this a few days ago and have listened to it a good bit. Am I the only one who thinks this is a v ery mediocre and frankly boring album? Every review I read on Istratrance make it out to be like, the best album ever or something, but to me it's just so tame and lacking in charisma or thill factor... One of the most avaerage albums I've heard, reminds me a bit of Element "Transform" that way... What do you think?
Guest Raider
Clean your ears...! Just kidding, I love the album... but it's a matter of taste. If you don't like it, that's how you feel. But don't tell me you danced like crazy when you heard O.K. Computer the first time
Guest lumpi
You can´t be serious about that, you´re joking, right? I actually found it to be quite refreshing (some tracks at least). But even the more average tracks on the album are certainly standing far far above any other full on release these days imo.

Naiman
Dont make judgments based on Isratrance, every album there is an instant classic & Dancefloor Stomper and Killlaaaaaaaaaah. Isratrance can suck my nuts.

Guest Shpongled Shaman
Try giving it a few more listens? I've found with a lot of albums my initial listen will only yield a few songs that really standout, while the rest of the album will seem sort of foggy. That's the bad thing if you decide to try an album because of maybe getting pressured. Might not have the patience to really listen to it. I love the album's theme. The title fits it very well with all the spacey/cyborg sounds. I don't know, if I were to rate the tracks: 5/5 Robot-o-Chan (I think of some sort of *emotional* Robot composer when I listen to this song) 3/5 Mekong Delta 2/5 Number Cruncher 3/5 Snakes & Ladders 5/5 Samothraki (Among other things I love the HAL 9000 samples) 4/5 Universe 4/5 OK Computer (" love the Alpha Centauri samples). 3/5 UR Beautiful ?/5 Long Wave That's mostly relative to the other songs on the album too. Snakes & Ladders is an awesome song, but I couldn't rate it close to Samothraki which is hot as hell. So hrm. Yah, there's stuff in there that I feel is worthy of giving the album high praise but it might take a while to discern.
Guest healium
Hhmm yea isratrance just love everything it seems.. I'm gonna give it more listens for sure, but right now it just sounds so generic... Hey tho I will say it's FAR better than either the new Psycraft or new Psysex albums! Real dissapointed with those two... Whats going on here?! Whats up with Psycraft? Hey tho the Rinkadink album is KILLER!!!!
khogg
I think so many artists visit and post on Isratrance that people feel bad giving a harsh but honest review. As a result, the reviews there are mostly meaningless which is a shame because we don't have the review section on this site any more. As for Prometheus, I listened to the samples and I agree. It didn't sound all that special so I just never got it. Like most Twisted releases it's hyped beyond belief.
Basilisk
never trust isratrance reviews... its one big circle jerk. but what can I say? even I avoid posting bad reviews for the many bad releases out there, just cuz I don't want to have to deal with some label manager taking personal offence. this prometheus album was eagerly awaited in my household... once it arrived I learned once again not to buy into the hype. its a pretty good album but not as insane as I had hoped. still, its a nice and unique style and a refreshing change. I guess honestly I wished for more chill on there, as that first track is a real beaut. 'universe' is also quite nice on the stomp side, but some of these tracks piss me off with their sample usage. it degrades the amount of listens I can stand... now, another view on this is that the best albums usually take the longest to settle into the brainpan and extend tendrils... and what may seem at first to be a masterpiece to some people may take a while for others... I could end up liking this release a LOT more and I think others could too - it does have the mark of an album that you need to wait on for it to show its true power... Yeah, I do that too... Actually, I *should* start reviewing bad stuff... The grumpy reviewer... Yeah, I could do that! Personally I really like the Prometheus album though... ;o) DeathPosture
