Guest adrenachrome
Thought I was alone on this one, but it seems there are some others who like the idea too, so... will we ever have a retro 60's psychedellic review section on this site? Guest Mike D
I thought this sight was specific to Psychadelic trance?? I am sure there is another site that is about psychadelic rock!
Guest adrenachrome
Of course, but what about 60s psychedellic electronc music like Tangerine Dream and such? SMI²LE
Guest Full Lotus
I have to agree with Adrenachrome, psychedelic music is psychedelic music, what ever the sub-genre. Raja Ram started off in the late 60's in a psychedelic/hippy/ band called Quintessence. System7 comprises of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy who were both part of seminal hippy-psy band Gong. Psy-trance does have a direct connection(in my opinion) with the 'old' psy music. Even Ozric Tentacles spawned Eat Static. I would love to see a review section for the old music as I think some people these days need to learn a bit more about psychedelia as a whole. It shouldn't be limited to one type of music.....PS I have loads(about 300 albums) of 60's, 70's 80's and 90's psychedelic music(non-trance), so if anyone wants any recommendations, then let me know. PS I have even more psy-trance....

Jimi Hendrix - Axis Bold As Love Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesty's Request Pretty Things - S.F Sorrow Tomorrow - Tomorrow 70's Gong - Radio Gnome Invisible Part 1: Flying Teapot Gong - Radio Gnome Invisible Part 2: Angels Egg Gong - Radio Gnome Invisible Part 3: You Hawkwind - In Search of Space Hawkwind - Doremi Fasol Latido Hawkwind - Space Ritual Hawkwind - Hall of the Mountain Grill Hawkwind - Warrior on the Edge of Time Amon Duul 2 - Yeti Amon Duul 2 - Dance of the Lemmings Amon Duul 2 - Wolf City Can - Monster Movies Can - Tago Mago Can - Soundtracks 80's Spacemen 3 - Sound of Confusion Spacemen 3 - The Perfect Prescription Loop - Heaven's End Loop - Black Sun Ozric Tentacles - Erpsongs Ozric Tentacles - Tantric Obstacles Ozric Tentacles - Live Ehtereal Cereal Ozric Tentacles - There is Nothing Ozric Tentacles - Sliding Gliding Worlds Ozric Tentacles - Bits Between the Bits Ozric Tentacles - Pungent Effulgent 90's More Ozrics and Psy trance/Ambient stuff that you probably know about...
