Guest ear
you see some DJ's are actually into fitness and exercise so they carry heavy loads of records around. There are some fitness DJ videos out there. You should chek'em out
Guest elle
Dj's like vinyl better because it's easy to extend - if you have two copies of the lp, you can fade between them and make a track go on forever. A lot of the tricks of vinyl manipulation are impossible with CDs, but have become easy with dj software.
Guest nicolasnickleby
Vinyl actually does have a different sound (arguably better) because the frequency ranges get concentrated on the ends. Deeper bass and Whiny highs, while cds have a punchier kick. The difference is imperceptable if the sound system is tweaked correctly. Vinyl is easier to spin, you have better control of the position of the beat because you can physically move it. The only cd player that offers adequate vinyl features is a cdj1000 that costs $1200 bucks a piece.
