Tsotsi
So what are the best tracks that come to mind when thinking about something that would set the scene for a great Goa or Psytrance set. I think of The intro to Morphic Resonance's Perplexity album. And Kalachakra by Artha. What cha got.
Manuser
Love the intro of this track: Sadly the rest of the track is very boring. Deserves a remix. Opening a set with this intro sounds like a great idea, just need to quickly mix with another track when the pad melody is over.
Manuser
The intro of Morphic Resonance - Perplexity is really brilliant, have to agree. Usually don't care about intros but this one is special. Also like the Artha track a lot!
Manuser
For a dark psytrance set, go for this one:
etherdesign
This one is pretty good for a darker set, of course bring in another track before the actual one begins: These two are good for lighter goa or morning psy sets (I had to upload this one..): And then one that's suited for any kind though probably best goa but it's one of my favorite intros ever: Bonus that's probably not good for either one, maybe goa but it's still great:
astralprojection
Mwnn - lunar cycle should be an excellent opener for an hour or so niceness to come

Awesome track. @Manuser The Loren x track was actually pretty catchy, it didn't go for too long so I didn't mind the whole thing. @etherdesign No sould - The Bang was a banger, really liked it. @Psychedelic Superbeast Moon Child Hot damn. I've also found this from Khetzal, Incidentally it mixes really well with Morphic's Intro (If Bpm Was better it would be perfect) And of course there is always this

How did you miss lunar cycle ? It was on like 10 different compilations in 96-97 or whatever <3 and a staple of goa trance history.
Tsotsi
@astralprojection My first album was Artha Influencing Dreams, or Loud's 5 Billion Stars if we can count that. I'm still blooming my little Goa flowers

Manuser
Totsi, how about this track? Can be used as either an intro or an ending for a set actually.
RTP
I do think that Pryda - The End is a great intro ... not only because it is, but because it would be a creative act to start a set with the end (I say thanks to Lemmiwinks for this tune ... he posted it on this forum first - and sparked my love for Pryda forever.) Even better though is Atmos - Fill The Hat ... although it has a long breath: Third pick is Noma - Soon ... it's all purpose for a progressive set imo: If that was no good for you, you can try Etnoscope - Sunrise ... you never go wrong with Etnoscope imo:

(Mindfield - lets get stoned and watch the freaks was my introduction)
astralprojection
Oh yeah another intro track since someone mentioned Atmos - Drums don't stop. But now that I reconsider - its more of a closer than an opener I think.... Even still, what a killer.

Tsotsi
Woah slow down Mr creative, that's gonna require extra work. Probably the direction I'll take eventually. I'm digging your set's though, do you perform?

Goa and psy is just a hobby I picked after first hearing it back in
