Guest Trolsk
Has anyone seen the full Syncrosect DVD yet? Is it any good? The clips at their website seemed very promising.

Basilisk
The tracks are good, the visuals are cool... this is a new sort of concept I think - I have seen visuals before, of course, but never repetative like these are... it gives them this curious trance-inducing quality (which makes total sense)... I saw the full DVD a few weeks ago and haven't put it on since but I've been using the songs in some mixes I've been working on and despite the time in between the visuals run vividly in my mind as the track goes on! Now thats a powerful association! I can only hope more artists take this route for releasing their albums so that an entirely new generation of trance media can come to fruition. I am EAGERLY looking forward to being able to spin my first DVD-only set with synched visuals... but it may be a year or two yet before there's enough of this kind of art to work with. Guest Circuit VIII
seen mine? http://www.circuitviii.net/tribal/ has a link... i guess this is something that most all VJs have in mind - i agree, it is the future, there is no need (now) for producing release material to be a real hassle either - it's a desktop, not studio, job. so look forward to more... might even mean that it's possible to make a (reasonable) living at this - imagine, if you will, if musicians only played live. no income from CD sales, no established 'fans' (apart from those who happened to have seen so-and-so already)... and when TVoIP ('net TV on demand) hits (2006???), i can certainly see psy-VJ online streams coming. some of the audio services (philosomatika for example) are about the highest-quality on the net...non-commercial too oh, and HD-DVD...NICE.
