Carnival / circus intro countdown song?

hey guys,

wonder if you can help me find a track. i had it on a CD years and years ago and the only thing it had on it was hand written Vortex. i am pretty sure i was told it was played at a vortex new years (maybe 2000 ) as the clock stuck midnight but cant promise that is true. pretty sure the song in the beginning ha has a "gong" sound or two like someone hitting one of those big symbols and then it goes into like carnival / circus music which speeds up until the drop hits. da da dum dum da da da da da da dum da da.

i know this is extremely vague and a long shot but though i would give it a go ha ha
