Uriel Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I love that fat woofy goa bass and kick. But the synth leads... I know I’m stepping on toes here, but there’s only so much I can take, almost every goa track will do a frantic and grandiose arpeggio. I understand it’s deep in the DNA of the goa sound but I’m interested in some alternative goa recommendations. Tracks, artists, labels. The album Shaman by Hakkah is what I’m looking for more of, particularly the track “Essence”. https://hakkah.bandcamp.com/track/essence Any tips? Quote
Dolmot Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Beat Bizarre? Always enjoyed the releases, the ZNA live was great fun too. Metal Spark? That was an interesting one back then. Not even particularly fat or woofy. I sometimes play it when my ears need more breathing space. Bamboo Forest has released a lot of less pompous stuff too in different flavours. 1 Quote

Expand Nice track. If my memory serves me right, Qiujan makes a similar style (with more intensity though): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zOcHtwBOgg&ab_channel=music2021 1 Quote
