khogg Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I know this has been reviewed here before, but I gotta say this is simply stunning. I just got it and can't stop listening. Best cd I've got in a while. Wicked start to finish and very crisp clear sound. Mmmm... delicious. Apparently this is Freq's second album? Anyone heard the other? Any good? Quote
sherlockalien Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 yeah, brilliant cd indeed! I only heard tracks released on compilations... and all of the ones I've heard are amazing!! Quote
Guest Tsar from above Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I must admit that this album is one of those "got-to-have" albums, no doubt about that. Simply amazing. Quote
DeathPosture Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I agree... Stellar album! ... Quazzi, it's progressive trance... It's been a great year for progressive trance so far! ;o) DeathPosture Quote
Guest Outs!der Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 It's subtle, to-the-point, question-and-answer, progressive trance. My favourites are Nurbs and Freqtal (freqtal is collaboration with Fractal Glider?) Quote
khogg Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 Also, I don't think you have to be a progressive die-hard to like this. It's just good period. Everyone who likes psy-trance (in the broadest meaning of that term) should check it out. Quote
Quark Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 Straight after seeing him live, I rushed to my local record-dealer and bought the album, it is prima-stuff. Quote
Guest david Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 yes:o) this album is just great from start to finish. a must for all progressive Trance lovers. Quote
Guest Subatomic Vision Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Is it progressive like Protoculture or progressive like for instance Atmos?> Quote
Guest Outs!der Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I think it's more comparable with Ticon, SOn Kite, Vibrasphere(?) and maybe Atmos yes but on the otherhand, no, it's a style on its own.. Quote
Guest healium Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 It's a good album but it doesn't really stand out to me - very much in the same formula as most progressive stuff... I find it very unsatisfying music to listen to, it's nice and I like it, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't hit the spot... Quote
Guest X Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I suppose I'm the only one who find it boring. Quote
Guest penial Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 "It's subtle, to-the-point, question-and-answer, progressive trance." I would agree with this except for the subtle part. I think it's straight forward, but very smoooooth nonetheless. Quote
Guest Erik Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 yeah, this album is fairly straight forward in my book. its kinda like the "commercial" progressive-psy album (if there is such a thing). ....but im not complaining.. from what i've heard (and i haven't heard the whole thing) it still be good indeed Quote
