Guest Jon Cocco
So the rumors are true... I hope it is a blast-off album!, imaginative, innovative, wild, and super melodic-catchy psychedelic; adventurous and beautiful like their older stuff. Older stuff = TNT, Astral Files, Dancing Galaxy, and Another World... (not anything after!, even though they had some decent tracks after 1999, we all know how much better their older stuff was; it was awesome!) and I hope this album has even more layers and waves of super catchy rhythm and sounds then ever before... I PRAY like many other AP fans that it isn't a bunch of club trance tracks. That would be very disappointing when the reality is that the older stuff by AP was not only a head of its time, but very enjoyable to dance to, it was creative and different and it didn't need to come close to the club-trance sound in order to be played in clubs. Just listening to their older stuff in our current time proves that they were at one time kings of goatrance. I hope they have come to the realization with this "next" album that it is essential that they don't lose their roots and who they are by taking the less risky, more general route with more general releases like "AMEN and "In the Mix." I really hope this is the comeback album we've been wishing for since 1999, but I won't kill myself if its not. * Anyone know the release date of TEN? I like that name by the way, especially if its an excellent or great album, because in certain occasions, "TEN" implies perfection. I hope this earns the title I hope it deserves. khogg
Cover looks good. I agree that the B.L.T, Space Cat and Deedrah tracks are something I'd like to hear. Any John Flemming I've heard before tends to be just club trance or rather bland. As for the rest? Like I said on Isratrance, I just hope they are (or have been) inspired by the Astral sound and don't just make full on songs with a few chopped samples of some great old Astral song thrown over top. We'll see. Could be really good though. Let's hope. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Mike D, you have all the really old stuff like Trust in Trance 1 and all that sort of stuff too? I really like Trust in Trance 2. It's not talked about much but has some good oldies. Especially when you consider when it was made.
khogg
P.S. Imagine if the originals of all those songs were released today as an album for the first time? Would that be an album or what?
Guest Jon Cocco
All those remixes are by other artists. Did Astral Projection have anything to do with the alterations of their original tracks??? Did AP do anything creative or structured here? It seems that they simply gave out some of their great original songs and some artists remixed them. Guest HILLTOP82(When the shit h
MAhadeva is like the Best trance song ever! Sort of OHM NOMA SHIVAYA!
Guest adam
I'm a really big fan of Astral, i mean a really really really big fan ! They're my favorites ! However, they're dead. I think they should take their retirement.. Amen was pur Shit and this album looks shit too.. I mean maybe it'll be good, but we can easily see that they don't know what to produce anymore, they have no more inspiration, no more new ideas.. So they throw a bunch of remix on an album and off they go.. We don't need the masters of psytrance to create another V/A album .. I wish they put on another great album, but i doubt it ..
