Guest Jon Cocco
Huh???, Another album of remixes??!!!! Whatever happened to a NEW album??? I thought this "TEN" was a new album, but its just a bunch of remixes, nothing new or groundbreaking! Will there be a new album anytime in the next year or two? Whats going on with Miranda and AP releasing remixed stuff of previous songs. How about some great NEW songs for the new century. Where are the great songs by older, greater artists who don't seem to make new music anymore??? Hopefully this remix album will have surprisingly great remixes and its not just another cheap way to cash in on famous songs by throwing together a bunvch of so-so mixed-up versions. but whatever... I'm still disappointed. I was hoping for a comeback from AP from 1999, not anytime after... I guess its difficult to put out something great and fresh now days. We have to accept whatever we can listen to.
Guest Jon Cocco
If the release date on AP's website is 01/09/2004, does that mean its now available??? Where or when can we sample this thing???
Guest antic
@Jon: no, it means it will be released on 1st of september this year- it's just different notation than what you have in States :-D
Guest Jon Cocco
Okay thanks, I see now. Well then, I hope its a good, if not great remix album. I'm a bit skeptical and was hoping for something fresh and new, but I'm trying to remain positive until I hear this. Hopefully it will be better then the lack-of-innivation or rather dismal "Re-Recorded" (mixes) album that Miranda or Miranda's label just put out. I really was unimpressed with what I've heard regarding "Re-Recorded so far. I hope this remixed album ROCKS... it has some very classic songs on it and I hope they really did justice to them all. I was very impressed with the KABALAH (new age mix) from back on Astral Files... I hope to see more impressive, over-the-top, super pumped-up remixes that totally rock the original while bringing more direction, modifications, and improvement; not just someone else's vision as "just another remix." Basic stuff is boring and has grown tiresome over the years. Laters!
Guest Mike D
...Spcae Cat, B.L.T and Deedrah will rock!!
