Trolsk Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 I found this great Tripiatrik live set at Youtube: It's actually a mix of mostly Paps and Yumade tracks, and one Tripiatrik track, nonetheless, great stuff. I was a bit surprised by a comment: Pierre Busson, aka Yumade, is currently making disco flavored electronic music as Yuksek. And he's doing really good judging by the number of streams: What other psytrance artists have managed to transition to other genres and become successful? The only other example I can think of is Infected Mushroom. Quote

Astral Projection I see as one of the few groups who didn't need to compromise on their style. It has stayed more or less the same in essence. And is still widely popular it would seem. Astral Projection are certainly appreciated in the psytrance community, but I wouldn't say they are widely popular nor appreciated by mainstream markets. They have 77 970 monthly streams @ Spotify, that's far from widely popular. Dance Is The Answer is their latest "hit", and it hasn't even got one million streams. Quote
