Hodd, a Viking word for Forest. 'ient, the indication of Ambient. Following in the curious Hodd-series comes the 1st of 3 Forest / Nature Ambient mini-VAs... Hope is to evolve the 'ient series into serious Forest Psymbient, and so it naturally starts off in a more techno-land place  .. Boreal Taiga from Oregon, USA starts the V/A with heavy rain reminiscing of static noise eventually patiently venturing into dubtechno beats, and The White Whisper from Italy places it self in between the three tracks with a lovely almost FSOLesque sound of delight, and last the powerful Christian Berg / Hydrous from Tønsberg in Norway goes into deep ambient with the closing track. Kali Earth Records is extremely stoked to present a massive Forest VA-series to the world. This special HoddKER Mini-VA series project was started in late 2021, and is loosely inspired by the present world and the Norrøn Mythology of Hoddmimes Holt; the Forest where the last humans hid and survived Ragnarok. There will be 3 volumes in each Hodd-theme.. This is Volume 1 of 3 in the 'Hoddient' saga.
