Event Gina can be bought for abot 300$.

Upgrade from my PC conf. to PIII will cost me about 700$.

Good microfone for about 300-400.. an atmospheric one, so i could be able to recored birds etc stuff..

That's for the start..

Save your cash and buy a Behringer mixer, just as good, half the price.

Hey Mkay11 congrats on buying the nord! i guess you have it now?

I gotta get me a Nord too soon - can I have a play on yours first? We should get together, write a track for the contest... what do you think?

I might email you.

seriously guys if you have some cash put aside for equipment

buy a nord lead i have only had this for four days now and things are

better for me already life is so much easier........

brilliant piece of equipment thankyou clavia you guys are legends....

piece of advice though when your talking prices try and make them throw

in a pcmcia card for saving stuff straight away......

you can save onto the nord but better if you can save hundreds of sounds

and performances straight away...

also good to put your sounds on the card and then take them with you

for instance, infected and gms both probably just transport their sounds on the card and have the promoter provide the nord...makes life easy!

I have owned a Nord Rack 2 for about 2 years, They rock hard!!!

The only thing is they have about 40 overwritable patches, which sux!

This is what I am upgrading to:

Digidesign Digi001

Apple G4 Dual Processor (Undecided what speed exactly)

Steinberg Midex 8 (I hope they come out w/ a smaller version soon)

Tannoy Reveals

I Currently own:

Novation Nova

Nord Rack 2

I am going to use Cubase 5 VST/32 & Softsynths as well, & I am going to work in the realm of Audio to improve timing!!!

Hey MG that is a similar set up to what i just got.......u might as well get motu's Digital Performer too which is a great piece of software and works well with digi 001 the midi on DP is a lot better than PT LE.....I would suggest a motu midi interface as well so it all runs smoothly. And as for the Tannoy's they rok! Enjoy!

I just have to say one thing....... If you guys are serious about making music you should replace your PC´s with a Mac........ All serious musicians use Mac not PC....
