Guest etherdesign
What kind of noise? Hissing? Pops? Those aren't too hard, good eq, compression/limiting, and filters can fix that, just play around.. but if you mean like background noise or percussion or harmonic content it's pretty much impossible to make it completely inaudible. Guest Psylent Buddhi
Cool Edit Pro has an excellent background noise reduction filter! Probably one of the best around considering the price. I haven't tried Sonic Foundry's noise reduction, but I know you can download a timelimited trial version from their homepage: www.sonicfoundry.com!
