Guest Father Time
alright. ive got next to no money to spend. im good with analog synths. i also know LA synthesis fairly well. i can program drums good. but ive never been able to afford any equipment. so....im planning on using rebirth to make loops and sequence them in acid and add in samples. are there any other good programs that can make wierd noises, drum loops, or leads. i really need something that can make good leads. any advice? comments ets.? Guest reven
the best solution would be to to use logic audio with some samples,exs24 sampler and a few virtual synths. if you're good enough that would cost you nothing and then you can do terrific psy trance. remember to spend as much time as possible (leave your girlfriend, stop doingt sports,.....) Guest Andreas Chatzakis
Yes Orion is perfect. Only 50$ and you can use VST instrument and fx. Plus it has midi out so you can intergrate any synths you may get in the future. Reason is good too , but it is much more expensive and less flexible as you are stuck with the synths that come with the program because you cant use VST plugins. Guest etherealphaze
reaktor is one of the best softsynths... u can do about just anything with it.... but it's quite complicated.,.,......
Guest Slidingtrancer
Reaktor doesnt work here, I can't get ANY sound out of it. It's very frustrating
Guest vax
Fruity Loops - bad algorythm, 16 bit. Orion - CPU killer, not good drum programming IMHO Reason - cool, but 24 bit & not so cool synth algorythm Reaktor - simply the best ------------------- My opinion: If you wanna make music on software, try this configuration: Reason + Nuendo + Reaktor That's IMHO. =) If you wanna PROFESSIONAL quality, try Creamware products. That's all. BABAZ!
