Guest Slidingtrancer
In all psytrax I notice a great deal of stereo fx, how do you make that in reason. I can do it in a tracker ( no problem) but reason doesn't seem to have a delaypanning function. I just want the sound to go something like this center(first hit) left(first delay) right(2nd delay) far left(3d delay) far right(3d delay) Anyone got the slightest clue what I mean? Guest Amanita Muscaria
You mean like X: |--------X--------| 1: |-----X-----------| 2: |-----------X-----| 3: |--X--------------| 4: |--------------X--| ? (though I'm not using Reason)

Guest Epsilon
One way to do that kind of delay is to assing a sine lfo to control the delay pan. That's only way to do a stereo delay in reason. I hate that reason lacks ping-pong delay. You can also use reason via rewire with cubase and add a vst delay.
Guest Protex Midget
I think I know what you mean. I have a way of doing that: First, Create a simple pattern on the Matrix. Then lift the Mod-Wheel on the Subtractor to about 64. Now, add the following devices in the following order: 1. RV-7 Digital Reverb 2. DDL-1 Digital Delay Line 3. ECF-42 Filter 4. CF 101 5. PH-90 Phaser Now, turn the frequency on the ECF to the maximum (127). On the CF-101 turn the Delay to Maximum (127), and the feedback to minimum (-64) This should give you the effect you want, and now ou can play with the freq, delay, and feedback, or just ad more filters, to get varied sounds. Guest Psylent Buddhi
Well, it has been known for a while now that the effect-machines in Reason lack quite a few features which can be found in Cubase/Logic/what have you or hardware effect-machines. Use Soundforge or Cool Edit Pro to create a delay with a panning like that. Both of those programs offer reasonable solutions to your problem Slidie! Hmm, doesn't Nuendo have a delay plugin? Hope to speak to you again soon Ingmar!
Guest Rikard
U want a stereo delay in reason? it is hard to make and using an LFO to pan the delay does not sound good. Instead u must asign 2 delays to diffrent mixer channels (which are panned to left & right) and feed them into eachother manually (no fedback in the actuall delay). Ah damn.. im tired i can send u a .rns demo of stereo delay if u want. /Rikard
Guest etherdesign
Man, Reason sounds like a bitch to use, you can accomplish this with a few simple clicks in Logic or Cubase.. Spin Audio's 3D Delays and 3D Panner Studio Makes short work of this..
