Guest Psylent Knight
I was just wondering how much of a track will you play while playing live. I know this can depend greatly upon the track, but on average. I find I sometimes play quite a bit of the track (sometimes around 4-5 mins) but I've noticed others only play a short section of certain tracks. I'm just curious what others think on how much of a track should be played before popping on the next one, both the listen/partygoer and the DJ, which do you prefer. I also find that sometimes I only like a small section of a track and just play that, now would the people listening prefer to her more of that track and be disapointed if only a small section was played and then another introduced or would the flow on be better? I hope that makes a bit of sense... I'm just starting to mix tracks and I'm curious on what others think of on the matter. Thanks Psylent Knight

Guest aaarghhh
....P.K......the best solution to your question is to be original.....give the crowd the unexpected......each of us has our own style.....look within, and release the chaos.........
