Guest alex
sorry if this is a stupid question or has been answered already recentley. but could someone tell me how to record a set on cd through my pc? thanks a lot
shpongled
You can't record it directly to CD... you have to record it to WAV format first in your computer's hardrive (you need 700-800MB of free space)... and then burn it to cd. Put a lead from your mixer's output to souncard's input.
Guest brandon
they also make external cd-burners which you can plug into your mixer...phillips i believe makes the one that I own...I would say this is the easiest way
Guest alex
ok - that's what i thought. but is there a specific program that records realtime incoming sound to wav. or is there another obvious way to do that too?
Guest antic
Most of audio-editing software have this feature, for example Sound Forge (but it's expensive), GoldWave (free-ware) or even the free version of Audiograbber... Ofcourse after the recording you probably will have to edit this file - cut leading / ending silence, de-noise it or equalize, but that is the whole fun I think Good Luck! Guest akindo
Normalize it!!! This is the most important I think, otherwise it will be too quiet.
