Guest MD
A friend of mine who's into music making was stunned by the sounds from AP's Another World and was wondering what they used to make them. He doesn't seem to find any interview post Dancing Galaxy, but he thinks that they changed their synths (and sounds) since that one. So, could anyone help here? shpongled
Hahahaaa... that's loads of gear... I would like to see Astral guys saying: "You don't need much gear to make good music" ...with serious face.
Guest Psylent Buddhi
All that gear and they still just use a simple filtered sawtooth? Something tells me they don't make the most of their gear! Just joking, I'm amazed by that list...
Guest noctilucent
I would say i'm amazed by their sound, too. I heard very unique sounds throughout their songs. One would never be able to get that from an all-software-studio(or it would take twice as long). I really apreciate AP and their style as well as QUALITY and professionalism. Guest noctilucent
I also wonder how much space all those synths and equip. take? And how much money they spent. It's quite impressive.
Guest Elysium Project
Sorry but who told you that they use all that gear??? last time I visited their studio I did not see that much gear...... Don't always believe what people write in this forum.......
Guest mr peculiar
still an impressive list regardless of wether they own it or not hahahaa
Guest noctilucent
then I should say "an impressive list" asmr. peculiar said.
Guest ralih
man that really can't be true. i mean that's overkill ..
Guest OCD
hey EP they have two studios, one for them and one for the label. and they do have all this gear, and they do use it well. most weak goa bands and their shitty software can't make music sound anywhere near as professional even if you prefer their music style...listen to all the layers of sound AP used to use, plus the songs' age, and it still sounds damn good- hope you'll understand
Guest mk~11
whether they own it or not.. obviously you are not going to have all of that gear in your studio at once but it is probably the list of the gear they have used for their tracks....regardless if you have been in their studio and seen it...... Guest Elysium Project
Come on people look at the list.... nearly every gear is on it...... it is obvious that he or she just made up a list... and yes I have been to both their studios several times.... they still do not have that much gear.... Guest PROSECT
Well guys i'm dissapointed about all of you... i didn't maded up this things - you thank i have time to write all this...? (btw i'm a male) I'm too laughing at all this - so many gear and always the same sound line ???? Maybe Astral made up this, but not me... check it here: http://www.isratrance.com/artists/data/astral.html this is the official israely trance site... so if they made it up, that's not me the one who did it... Guest Elysium Project
Sorry to accuse you PROSPECT....... I can only say that the isralie site is NOT the official AP site.... I have visited their studios quite a lot of times and I have never seen all that gear.... yes they have a lot of gear but not that much..... Even Astral Projection would not be able to buy all that gear... it's way too expensive......
Guest PROSECT
Kristian let's not fight about stupid topics... I don't care what they use !!! They have good music but it's always the same sound line... I know that this is not the official AP site... but isratrance is good site IMO, i don't know how they find this list (but i will find out...). Peace man, i respect you and your music too offtopic: Kristian how can I send you demos or something from Israel? I remember you said that you connected somehow to some label... Guest acid blastah
no no its true, they had the same list in Keyboard magazine and out of all goa bands, ¨AP is the most popular and they make the most money too. remember they are doing commercial stuff now a bit, they have their own label plus highly successful group, they record other bands in their studio etc. and maybe you didn't see all that gear cause they are gearwhores, they sell a lot (i know a dj in israel who bought a sampler from them), buy more and even lend their gear out sometimes (mfg anyone?) and the gear isn't that expensive, they probably bought it on trips to the US. I know one person in the US who has almost as much gear and he hasn't even released any psy yet (he justs djs)

Guest acid blastah
hey EP do you not understand the term 'many times'? i think they're having their jolies just laughing at me when i begin to curse them. i'd think 4 times is enough...and the first 2 times i was very polite so don't give me any BS later
Guest Elysium Project
acid blastah ......chill....... i am not the one sending you e-mails. To PROSECT....
