Guest Phaedrus Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Hi Everyone. I am an aspiring DJ and am buying equipment. I got the mixer and cdjs, now I need some decent headphones. I want to keep my cost at ~ $100. Help is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Phaedrus Quote
Guest N3Z Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Buy Sony Mdr-500 or 700 dj' series...... pretty good stuff. Quote
Guest Slidingtrancer Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 I would save some money and buy some better ones if I 'only' had 100$ Save about 200/300 and then go shopping Quote
Guest vasyachkin Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 headphones for DJing or for listening? Those are two totally different kinds of headphones. Quote
Guest vasyachkin Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 hm, new Sennheiser HD280 are about to come out, ugly as sh*t but still could be interesting. Quote
Guest Mescalinium Posted December 10, 2001 Posted December 10, 2001 I'd recommend the good old Sony MDR-v700's. Very flexible design with rotating cups so they rest comfortably on one ear. Plus the sound is great for the price. You should be able to snag a pair for around $100, maybe slightly more. While I bought them for djing, I use them for listening and working on my computer as well, for which they also work out nicely. Quote
Guest Phaedrus Posted December 11, 2001 Posted December 11, 2001 Thanks everyone. I found the sony mdr-700dj's for $94 @ www.etronics.com. btw, I find that these guys have the best prices on electronics on the net.... and no, i dont work for them Quote
