Virus kb or Nord 3?

Which one is better?

I think nord has phatter sound but it doesn't have any effects like virus does.

I'm not able to test those things because local music stores don't have va's.

VIRUS KB! so much better... Atleast i think. It's got alot more voices and multitimbral parts and very very nice effects where as the Nord 3 has NONE. Probably alot more expandable to. the virus kb is the best digital anolog board out there i believe.

Depends what you want, IMO the Nord sound is more crisp and some may say a little colder (but that can be good for psy sounds), while the Virus would be more versatile and has effects.. I don't know if it's really a good idea to buy something so expensive without trying it out to see if it's what you want first... everyone's opinion differs on this stuff..

I belive the norlead is better! ofcourse it wont be as much fun without the effects!

Nord lead has alot better synthesis! It is often the effects that make you belive that the synth is sooo great! virus is great! but nord is greatere! but you will have to buy an FX unit!

guys leave this two... every artist has it... in all tracks we hear it... buy yourself something different to be more different from others...

but every artists have their own inspirations and effects and will

have different outcomes than other artists that use these two synths..

ones that mimick don't get far ones that produce their own ideas and tracks

get their own style regardless of whether they have a nord or virus

just like every one else....

that is why i love the nord lead 2 as it has no effects so you have to learn the

synth inside out and create your own studio with your efx processors to get your own sound and efx where as other machines have efx and make the machine easier to learn and play to create efx and sounds which become familiar to other artists efx and sounds.....
