I think Tarsis' "Melt" had a very decent sound, so clear and pure. Atmos as well.

Koxbox =good production,Deviant Electronics ("Blunt Instruments")=great

I like Pleia/Etnica,but "I.F.O" has IMHO a bad soundquality. This is just a jugdement by my ears.

botfb music is DANCE music, not headphones stuff.

Concerning the soundquality, who cares...it's supposed to be noise :P

Eshanti Brahman, I think the bad sound quality of IFO is broadly acknowledged. Too bad for such a masterpiece...

SIMON POSFORD HAS THE BEST PRODUCTION ! ! !

Early works of Sandman are Crap ...

Parasense production is very crap ... but good tracks in general (strange...)

Ubar Tmar album "True" is crap ....

tripiatrik sound can be better ...(they have nice ideas and heavy basslines)

Some unreleased works of skazi are crap ...especially this track with jorg is bad..

Shiva Shidapu old work (Area 51 for example) noisy track , not clear at all

Kailum ...The Karina track , that sounds really bad ...

first releases of x-dream not good ..... Nowadays yes pure sound... radio kick ass

anyway and many more

Tikal recs - MatRix....sorry!

"Bad sound" but GREAT Psytrance!!!!

ps : Buggy is right, everybody must RE-READ what he sayed above!!!

"But you know what's weird? I don't know waht i can call good production because a lot of new producers use only software, which makes it ridic. easy to remain clean keeping it in the digital realm, but sometimes brought into external realms will create noise, but sometimes they have to work harder to minimize noise so who would really have a better sound? one is warmer with a little noise, but the other is colder with no noise...?"

"... I quess it's part of the Finnish mentality."

No, they are just crappy =) . Ok, i have heard just 3 songs.. i liked more of Omituisten Otusten Kerho.

I think Infected Mushroom has the best sound. At least on 'Classical Mushroom'. Soo good..tho they use heavy guitars and stuff like that.

I think a good example of the Texas Faggott mentality is the track Panda Punk: The Evil Hippy Revenge (or something like that), which was made by Timo after the soundcard of his laptop blew up at work. So he could no more listen to what he was doing, and being pissed off like that decided to release his aggression by making a track that could not listen to before it was done (it was done during one work day... so at least don't expect anything... good).

They don't care that much about production... I think you can hear it. (Not meaning that their music would be crap, cuz it's not).
