Guest Jeff
I'm looking for the best quality/price ratio (especially price actually) with a view to getting a decent sound system. I won't spend amounts of money on it, I just want an ok equipment, no more, no less. I checked audioreview.com, and I found those : Amplifier : Cambridge Audio P500 ($350) Speakers : Acoustic Research AR17 ($380) (Seems there's problem with the bass) I know that's not at all top quality material as lots of you are used to, but anyway, what do you think ? Guest vasyachkin
what may be good for somebody else may not be good for you, check your goals when people write reviews they compare the product to similar products (naturally). so a small speaker will be compared to small speakers and big speaker to big speakers etc. if you found a review of a small speaker that says - "its the best speaker ever!" that means its the best SMALL speaker ever. but make sure that you know what category you are after first. and only read reviews of products of this category
