soem aeld
I know that the Roland MC505 is great! My brother has one and he's very happy with it! I've played around with it a few times too, and I liked it aswell If you read the manual and learn it well it is very useful! Read this http://norsez.tripod.com/505.html Are you gonna buy a new or used?
Guest Mike D
I am gonna buy new, and I think will also save up for either a Clavia Nord Lead 2 or
Guest spiralix
BIG WARNING!! MC-505 = crap!!!!!!!!!!! ok, theres quite alot of halv good sampled drums in it! Everything in this machine is only samples.. not even very good sample quality. Sure you can do some cool stuff with it! at a start you will find it very amusing, but after a while you will notice its not that good! It not a syntheziser, so you can only get pre sampled stuff with it! nothing original! And the filters and stuff! BLAH!! The nord lead is an eccelent choise tho! save you money! buy an effect unit for the nord lead instead of a mc-505! i think you should think twise before getting this piece of *******
soem aeld
I disagree! Do you have a MC505? read: http://norsez.tripod.com/505.html

soem aeld
Mike D, do you have time to listen to a track made with a Roland MC505 (only)? Well, if you do go to this URL: http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/220/psynex.html and listen to Green Boxes. and guess what? it's not rap! Negrosex
It´s not impossible to get new sounds out of the 505 and i wouldn´t say that its total crap. the internal sequencer is fun to work with but its just not powerful enough, it lags. soundquality aint great either. but it has some extra outs, so if you have equalizers and compressors and stuff and know what your doing i guess you can make it sound pretty good. Personally i don´t think its worth the money.
Guest spiralix
ive heard really cool stuff done with it! It doesnt just match the quality!i ve heard really cool stuff done with fasttracker and buzz too! when you buy such expensive stuff, you should first of all demand a good quality! and groove boxes does NOT give that!
