Guest [tom jaimz] Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 What are people's thoughts? I like Cujo's track, and the Metronome and the Ectopile. All good numbers with nice clear sounds, and solid hooks that avoid them from being boring. The Metronome especially would go down well in a morning stomp session, and the Ectopile has real potential to drop during the night. I don't like the Nostromus, Jenova Project or Trip tracks. The Nostromus and Jenova are way too Goa-esque - they are simply overwhelmed with excessive melodic bollocks. And the heavy chords in Jenova just annoy me. The Trip track overdoes the 303s too much. The Laite track is a pretty weird ambient [?] number, and the Fafro is a cool breaky track. I like the Fafro too, actually. Quote

I now think the more there will be opinions about tracks participating on the forum the more people who can't download too many Tracks won't miss the jewel ones and will give a representative vote :-) So I think we should speak of the Tracks ... and that will even make the Music Making section more alive, and people who won't win will at least read some feedback sometimes here :-) Quote

Guest tero laihanen Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 I just wanted to say about that my track, that weird ambient Laite noise is made LIVE with MicroQ and Yamaha A4000 sampler, and thus is very weird Try to be in the right mood to listen it heheh. I've soon finished my full album of that same kind of ultraweird noisescape music. Good psytracks already in compo, i must say. Good luck to you all. Quote
