how to set the same duration to several notes in cubase ?

Hi there, I wanted to know how to change the durations in cubase, I mean to set all the notes of a part at the same duration.

 

Does someone know a practical solution to do it quickly ?

I know exactly what you mean!!!

it was there in older versions of cubase but they took it away!

 

you can't change the length of many notes at the same time---only the one you're touching with the pen get shorter--the other notes selected become like way too small

I just found:

 

Indeed, it doesn't work in the Part Editor,

 

But in the List Editor, it does: you highlight the wanted events, then you double-click on a duration while pressing 'Alt', you change the duration, and it spreads over all the highlighted events.

 

And this principle applies as well to the val1, val2, and val3.
