problem with dx200 & xgwork....any help?

Hi guys.......i have an yamaha sint dx200 and running on pc xg works...but i can't copy any loop...any help..please???

I've been trying to get xgworks to work with win 2000 but it keeps crashing...now, I'm forced to use a sound diver demo and dx7 patchs...

 

anyway, sorry to interrupt your question, but if either of you can help I'd greatly apppreciate it

i hate when i get answers like this but..... dont use win 2000 use 98 se. 2000 is awful.

ok, i kinda need to know what it was that you did to try to send it.

 

did you make sure that your midi settings are correct?

 

go to the midi set up tab and to make sure that you have the correct settings.

 

when i set mine up the first time i did the settings wrong because i didnt pay attention to which midi port i had used.

so i had my cables going to in a and out a but i had the settings telling xg works to use in a and out b . no good that way.

 

plus you cant have the same port for 2 different things.

 

re check all your midi settings and if that doesnt work write back what you did and what the result was.
