hey!

 

has anybody of u an idea how i have to connect a midikeyboard to my computer? andy drivers nescessary and which cable do i need... !?

You'll want to get a professional soundcard on your computer with MIDI-IN on it, so you can plug your keyboard into it...

 

Lifeform had also clued me in on a product that is simply a USB/MIDI converter - so you would plug this little thing into your USB port, and then plug your MIDI keyboard into THAT... and : : : poof! : : : You'd have MIDI with no latency

And there is also a MIDI-port cable you connect to the printer port. Cheap and good.

i´ve already thought about a professional soundcard.... but hey, i´m only a small student with no money, so.... ;)

can u maybe tell me some professional soundcards? (maybe with urls or something!)
