Guest EQ-1350
That there is A Mixer Problem in Version 1.0? i'll give you an example .. i've made a track which is based on 2 mixers (for now) and 2 mixer controllers(i didn't used the controllers when the error is happened- they are clear) which used for panning and volume faders . now .. i've loaded a sampler and used a sample .. in the mixer the pan is center , but in the track(playing it) it's Plays on the left speaker . now the mixer controller is fine and the mixer itself don't show me anything out of the ordinary . the sampler configuration is untouched .. it also happen when i'm delete the sampler and make a new one with the normal sampler config. it that a bug? or i'm just stupid and did something wrong? .. can the delay control the main sample panning? or myb if the routing is not right between FX in the second mixer (where the sampler is chained) . another question which is not that unrelated - what ASIO means? because i've heard that Version 1.1 is ASIO improved .. that sound cool.. another question Rebirth in Rewire in Reason i've got the Rebirth panel active and Rebirth is running under slave mode throu Reason.. how do i record a TB line from Rebirth into Reason? using the Matrix? Sorry for the LONG questions but please HELP

Guest Slidingtrancer
ASIO rules BTW, I think you just need to keep your rebirth running slaved to reason ....I really dont know. I just felt the rebirth sounded cheezy next to reason's superior sound.... so I never tried... someone else?

Guest Slidingtrancer
I'm having cdrom problems at the moment, so I cant install REASON I'm really pissed off because b4 my big computercrash I had some unfinished trax for the contest. Now I can't enter much of anything I think you need to run the rebirth input machine first and then run rebirth... Maybe you should automate the rebirth thing.. I dunno, I barely used it I will check it out though WHEN I get the thing back together

Guest suarajana
if you're connecting rebirth to reason, and you want to record rebirth stuff, you record it in rebirth.same as you would if youre using rebirth alone when they're connected, only the audio from rebirth is coming through reason but the sequencing of notes is done in rebirth. see? i'm with slidingtrancer on this though--not only does reason sound better than rebirth, but you can make the same synth sounds using reason just connect a foldback distortion to the subtractor , (i always wanted to say that) and make a patch with one saw wave /l and filter set to BP---move the cutoff up and down and voila`! same company, same synth engine, same sound then again a lot of my friends won't ever stop using rebirth, so i feel ya
Guest Slidingtrancer
Foldback distortion, say it again Daddy, say it again...hmmm Yummy You can make wicked acid sounds with Reason, much better than the TB-303 stuff you can get out of Rebirth, it just takes more time. Well, producing just takes up a lot of time...
