Anybody DJ-ing at clubs?

Does anybody here play DJ sets at clubs (or has played in the past)?

 

-the reason I ask, is because i wanted to know what equipment does the DJ usualy need to bring from home, and what equipment does he get from the club?

Yes ihave and i do. It's usually all there, you just bring your records or cd's and headphones .(you could always ask the organisers of what equipment they have)

Most clubs in my area have denon cdjs and tech1200, but recently the cdjs are busted and Im limited to viynl. Which sucks b/c Im a cd dj

Bringing your own cartridges is always a good idea too cause you never know what state the club ones might be in.

Thanx... anyway, I checked with the club wich im supposed to play in, and they said that i need to bring my cd's, headphones, and my mixer... all thier giving me are CDJ's...

 

(Wish me luck, this is my first time playing at a club. uptill now iv'e done only outdoor events)
