Hey all.......currently debating whether or not to get a mixer for the set up. I am hardware based running digital performer 3 and although the virtual one in it is very good i do like the physical feel of a mixer and i am thinking it may b more accurate.

If i do decide on it the other question is analog or digital? Obviously automation is very beneficial but at the end of the day it is the sound that is the most important.

Any thoughts?

Enjoy

Jake

I just had to say this:

With all do respect to the virtual mixers (Traktor, BPM Studio, PCDJ...),

you ain't never gonna be a real DJ, if you don't use a mixer...

I was referring to a real mixer like a studio one....not a dj mixer.
