Guest uncle phester of morphlab
it's probably cubase 5 but anyway....you mean stretching the audio like you'd do in Acid? cubase doesn't do it. if you really have to stretch a pre-made loop stick it into Acid and stretch it in there and export it back into cubey but one thing i learned about cubase and logic is that these are where you Make original loops, rather than stretching pre-made ones together. but either way---cubase's stretching sucks and will destroy the audio you try stretching so use acid to stretch if necessary
Guest lifeform
in the arrangement window... open up your little toolbox thing... with the pencil and what not... the very last one it looks like a pencil and a clock. This will timestretch it to whatever you want. Have fun. Timestreching does ruin the sound alot.. not as bad if your just doing it alittle bit. But back up your loops! Guest CompleXz
Lets say that the first track is at 135 bpm and that you want it to match the other track wich is at 145 bpm. I would record the the first track (135) and put it in wavelab or soundforge and then just timestretch it from 135 bpm to 145 bpm. That´s one way of doing it!!!! Good luck!...
