Guest Olle
Hello.. I've got a problem with my 505. It seems like theres no midi signals comming thru to cubase. The in/out icons to the right on the transport-bar doesen't react when i play a tune. I already got the midi-cables but do i need a midi-interface as well or do i have to make any specific settings in cubase? Thanks for your attention! Best regards Olle

Guest suarajana
the mc isn't as midi-friendly as we want it to be. it's a SEQUENCER with synth engines inside. it's Not really a SYNTH that you can control from Cubase. so it will send OUT note and controller data, but it won't RECIEVE notes well, or be controllable like a synth . to integrate it with cubase, you'd be sync-ing their clocks together, but if you want to use the sounds in the mc synth, you must sequence them from the mc, not from an external sequencer like cubase.
