Anyone tested it ? How it is for strange sounds and strong basses ? Arpegiator, etc... How it compares to virus, nordlead (auch), etc ? thanks Quote
Guest lifeform Posted March 27, 2002 Posted March 27, 2002 Alot of folks use that board. I dont think it's as high as of quality as a virus or nord but the arpeggiator on that thing kicks some ass. Not tons of knobs... But you get the always important cutoff and resonance. Should be able to find one for 400/500 US dollars. Quote

Guest raz [etnoscope] Posted April 6, 2002 Posted April 6, 2002 The an1x actually has quite nice sounds if you tweak it "the right way", and along with the internal fx you can go from psyco twisted, to ultra smooth in a flash. But the filters are to cold (read digital) to be able to be used in a good way. But if you really wan´t a synth with great filters you should consider spending, a few extra bucks and get a virus or nord modular since these have alot of extra goodies that the an1x dosen´t have... /raz [etnoscope] Quote
