I think ive gone and blown the preamp on my mixer...although im not sure...

It now makes a horrid humming sound in the earphones and speakers...

 

Anyone know how easy it is to repair?

Hmm... I have a feeling that you have a grounding problem.

my guitar amp had a horrible hum in it...

vacummed out the dust, was still there a little bit then

took it into the local...he grounded it properly and she is sweet...

thats the funny thing...it all seems grounded...the turntables plus ive never had a problem in three years with it or with my previous one.

 

even the plugin jack ive been using for the last week there wasn't any hum...

 

maybe ill do a switch aroo and see whats up
