Guest Inu
Pre-Shango... I've heard that they use: Roland SH101 Roland MC202 Korg DW8000 Waldorf Microwave Sequential Pro-One Eventide effects unit Any gear-heads care to add to that list? Guest etherdesign
I dunno.. but searching for a gear list for them I came across an album that I didn't know about Juno Reactor - Luciana from 1994.. it's a 60 minute long ambient piece.. grabbed it from Audiogalaxy since I doubt it's available anymore, it's pretty cool.. Guest Inu
Ben Watkins said once that Juno Reactor was the powerhouse of the ancient gods... "Juno" is a greek goddess, and prob. where Roland got their name as well. Interestingly enough, I think JR was originally the name of his girlfriend's art installation! Would love to have seen that... Inu - master of Juno Reactor trivia :-)
Guest buggy
well back to topic, i think juno reactor definately abuse the juno60 you can hear it onpretty much all of the good tracks(before shango^_^)...but seriously they just have probably A LOT of synths, like astral projection. lovely band that juno reactor:) this thread just made me out put on beyond the infinite(damnit i wish i had transmissions though, i find that their best album, it's so different then everything out there...) Guest Inu
Juno 60 -- niiice! Thanks for adding Buggy... btw, I get the feeling they don't use many synths, just squeeze the most out of what they have with different effects ect. Their sound is so analog and unreal And watch "Baraka" sometime; amazing flick, and you'll hear a bit of BTI in there...
