I currently have an SBLive and i'm looking for a better soundcard for midi&audio

here's what I want:

- 1 output and 1 line-in is sufficient, don't care about digital in/out

- no too expensive

- good asio support with low latency

- crystal clear sound, so no hiss on the line-in like my sblive

Well, anyone? Could this also be an external soundcard, I don't know if anything like that exists

if you end up buying Audiophile

it actually works under XP , but don't use the drivers you get on the cd with it

download them from M Audio web site www.m-audio.com

cuz the once on the cd are old and crappy

i just bought an M-Audio Omni Studio package for $400... it comes with the delta 66 card and the omni i/o breakout box thing... plus all the softwares i need and crap... i was wondering how this compares to the audiophile... is it a better or worse card? .. same makers, but more expensive... i would think it would be better
