Guest kitsune
Has anyone had much luck gating a synth to produce a nice stuttering effect synched to another synth? I've tried connecting the mod output to the level input.. and that almost seems to work.. but something's not quite right....
Guest Slidingtrancer
There are various ways to gate ... but ehm.. I'm at college now and here I have no reason on the computer. I'll check when I'm at home...

Guest mr peculiar
ok try this hope it makes sense ...........its kickass for gating 1....load up a sampler 2...load up a sound you want gated ....(vocal ,sweep, whatever) 3...load up a matrix pattern sequencer 4....flip the whole reason rack so your looking at the back 5....disconect both leads that connect to the matrix ......(cv...and gate i think) 6....now connect a lead from the amp out on your sampler .....and plug it into the gate hole on the matrix 7....flip back to the front 8....now in the matrix draw in a basic pattern for how you want the sound to gate(stutter) 9.....now press play on the matrix ....(you wont hear anything) 10 .....NOW you play the sampler on various notes and you will hear that classic gating effect and can easily tweek and change it to suit your track hope it wasnt too tricky ..........good luck BOM BOOM
