Guest monno Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 this is a post to warn Kazaa users on this site to beware of a variant of the nimda virus called benjamin. this virus only infects users of kazaa (a bit ironic he he) it floods your drive with copies of itself and redistributes itself with each shared file try ftp´s instead of those crappy peer to peer app´s enjoy Quote
Guest bugbread Posted May 23, 2002 Posted May 23, 2002 By the way: the Benjamin virus was an experimental "anti-piracy" virus made by an individual user (not the RIAA). It uses pirate-oriented file names (Like "The Scorpion King - DivX). Don't look for pirated stuff and you won't get it (it doesn't replicate just by having Kazaa on, but by downloading certain suspect files). And use a virus scanner that has up-to-date definitions, of course. Quote
Guest sudh1r Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 use audiogalaxy instead of any @!#$ like kazaa Quote
