Mw XT Labertasche+ vocal sounds; need help

There had once (1997-00???) been a sound preset called "Labertasche" on the Microwave [aaaiiijoijoijoijoi:]. For I love vocal sounds that much, my question is if anybody knows it and has a midi dump of the single sound "Labertasche" and could send it to me for learning purposes. I contacted Waldorf but unfortunately although they have a great midi section they could only tell me the name of the preset.

I know yet that it's possible to create vocal sounds by linking 3 BP-filters in order to reconstruct the oral cavity but how is that possible ?

(since my synths have just one filter and I am not confident with software progs; maybe you Reaktor fraggles can help me ?)

Last question: Which role play the flanger parameters in producing vocals sounds ?

.....yes, you're right; experimenting is the best way to check out these question but at least one need a basis for experimenting.... (...and life's short ;)

If I'm not mistaken (and I'm not, 'cause my MWXT says I'm right :) ), the easiest way to create vocal-like sounds is to use the wavetable. Number 17, 27, and especially 28 are the best ones - called formant-something (28 is fmntVocal...), and I wouldn't leave 57 (maleVoice) untried either...

Fiddle around with the wave-envelope, or make an LFO control the waveform...

That's the best I can come up with :)

You can also join the Waldorf user group mailing list (just look on the waldorf site for links) and ask there. There's bound to be someone with the preset you're looking for among the users and if not, then there's lots of smart audio-engineers on the list to help you out...
