Guest phlux0r
I think as long as you don't have a VIA chipset on your motherboard, you'll be ok. There are beta WDM drivers out at the moment which are ok but they're working on a stable release. Just go to www.staudio.com every so often to check. Also, on that site you get a user forum where you can find most answers to any problems you may encounter. You might want to have a read through the forum before you buy the card to see what sort of problems and comments people have. Also, check out skinah's site where you can find a lot of tips for optimising the DSP 2000 C-Port. Bottom line is: for that price, it's a great card and Tegma use it too . Guest phlux0r
I've got the VIA chipset too and I'm running the C-Port ok. Thing is that a lot of people have had problems but if you keep your system updated regularly and install the 4in1 VIA drivers you *should* be all right. Still, read the user forum on the C-Port site to see if you are likely to have problems... The best thing is to start with a fresh OS installation, update all device drivers and only install stuff you need for audio.
