Guest Monoxyde9
I have a sample, and using a granulize effect i was able to make it like 20 bpm faster, without changing the pitch. Thing is, it sounds.,. grainy. hehe. What are some alternatives to granulizers or software sound editors that shift tempo without changing pitch, or adding angry noise? peace
Guest Mike Indidginus
Try Recycle (Propellorheads I think) or Acid (Sonic Foundry) - you can do tempo changes in both of them
Guest Andreas of Amygdala
Soundforge has a pretty decent timestretch as well
Guest Reflekshun
The absolute best program for what you want is Native Instrument's Kontakt - it is granular yes, but it is the smoothest independant tempo/pitch shifter you'll find atm.. there should be no 'grainy' sounds or noise with this yummy app _|reflekshun:::...
