Guest Mike Indidginus
The easiest option would probably be to surf the net for sounds of that nature then tidy them up in Soundforge. Good luck
Guest tetsuo
i done that loads with my tracks. one i made was called acid rain, sounds like a rainforest with very bassy thunder, but i cheated cos i used the effects from fruity loops. for rain if you get some sort of shaker sound or a closed hat make it a continuos sound and tweak it slightly and pan n things. just experiment. make it soft as well, take the attack down etc..... hope that helped. but probably it didnt. oh yeah and lots of reverb.... Guest Satoshi
tetsuo is right! thats a really good tip if you want some tribal rain stuff. for some inspiration, listen to Bodh Gayas album "Ayahuasca". really good album with alot of tribal sounds! Guest Elysium Project
Try this for high quality stereo thunder: http://www.apple.com/imovie/freestuff/macosxaudio.html Go to the end of the page and select "Weather and Water". be aware of that it's 5.2 MB.
