which soft synth

i dont really like the sounds im getting out of reaktor...probably because im not patient enough to tinker around for hours to get the sound right

 

which soft synth do you recommend me adding on? I am running logic as the sequencer

absynth.. easier to work than reaktor and made by native instruments as well.. but honestly man, the trick is to use as many as possible.,. don't go in with the attitude of either/ or.. absynth maybe better than reaktor, but put together they are more serious than one alone..

Or you can use Emacig's own ES2 soft synth - looks pretty impressive. Then Native instruments also make FM7 which is a soft synth implementing FM syntesis and fully emulating the Yamaha DX7 synth.

check out another nice phat FM synth called "Junglist"

 

but jeez, if you cant get good sounds out of reaktor (?!?!wazzup with that!?!?!) then nothings gonna help you!

I second the motion about Sonic Syndicate's Junglist - You could easily make a heavily layered track (drums included!) all from this one soft synth.

 

What kinds of sounds are you going for? Clean melodies? Hard static?

 

Also, many of the "cool" synths you hear out there are very simple, plain sounds that get their 'coolness' by adding delay and reverb FX.

i love reaktor's filters! absolutly sick!!!!!!!!

 

i was thinking of absynth...but will be looking into junglist

 

i can get good sounds...but right now im looking for 'clean melodies' that ill play with in reaktor later

well absynth is alot more 'versatile', but junglist just has such a cool character about it.....

yup the triangle 2 is made by the same company (RGCaudio) and its prett damn good for free
