Guest Mike D
Ok, I am looking for a cheap program just to muck around with while my new pc is being developed and I save for some hardware. I am gonna get fruityloops because it is dirt cheap, it is fun and easy to use, and whilse it may not be the most professional program out there, it will give me a basic idea, ont top of what I have learnt at my piano lessons. i was wondering if nay other people here use this as their main program and what their opinion sis, please do not write stuff such as "it sucks' or anything, if you don't like please give a mature reason why. Thanx.
Guest R
Fruity & Reason good starting tools
Guest Scampy
Fruityloops is more powerfull than it seems. Once you get the hang of it, you can get some nice sounds out of it.
Guest PiNG
I like fruity better, but reason can be very good sounding! Altough it is hard to use ate the beggining, reason is more similar to machines. Well, Fruity looks like basic, but when you get the hang of it and with a bit of imagination, it can be very very powerfull try both and use the one that is more comfortable
Guest Jikkenteki
Fruity has alot of potential if used properly. I would also recommend getting your hands on Sound Forge as well for sampling, making kicks, etc, etc to use in fruity.

Guest Miha Skywalker
Yea, you are right, Scampy, especially using of VST instrumens and VST Effects in 3.0 version can make your psy-wave to a highest level of dancefloor flying. And remember about mastering )) BOM SHANKAR!!!
Guest Nebula Meltdown
I like Fruity the most. Here's what I've made with Fruity Loops Pro v.2.7. alone: www.mp3.com/nebulameltdown/ Listen to at least the first 3 songs there, The Gateway, Tombstone and Örkkien Paluu, they are my best creations online so far.
