Guest reece
hmmm, 2 different things u might be talkin about, take your pick: look in the transport bar next to the bpm is another window which has: " /16 " just set it to the resolution u want, from /4 to /192 or, for midi data, select the pattern u want to quantize, in the top left of the arrange page is a box called "Midi Thru" under this it says: "Qua off (3840) " click and hold the "off" a menu will appear with different quantize settings Good Luck! :-)
Guest --SYNTH--
My case is the first one : ) thanks..now I got it...but let me ask you something...how do I turn off this thing so as to move the events free?? And sometimes I can't fit the lengh of an event right on the grid line(sometimes it ends a little earlier sometimes it ends a little later), what can I do about it?? thanks
Guest reece
to my knowledge you cant turn it 'off'. but use it in /192 mode, zoom right in close and hold down the 'Alt' key for super-fine control. just out of curiosity, is it audio file or midi?, and why do you need the end of the event to end on the grid line??? :-)
Guest reece
hehe, sorry i think i understand what u mean now, do u want to adjust the note length in the matrix editor??? just grab the bottom right corner of the note, hold down 'alt' and it will give you fine tune control of the length. :-)
