Guest Raider
What do you think of the tracklist? Tranan – Cluedo Talamasca - Insanity Nomad – Spaceship Trippers Bamboo Forest - Experimental Jam Hux Flux - Bring Your Own Bios Alien Project Vs Asterix - Genetic Eyes (Genetically Modified Remix) Absolum - D-Generate Absolum - On The C-Side Absolum - Regenerate Absolum - Drumatric Remix Alien Project - Midnight Sun (GMS Remix) Deedrah - Reload (GMS Remix) Meathead Productions- The Big Ship
Guest Protex Midget
The tracks are quite good on their own, but if you put them all-together, then you will probably get a boring mix, because all these tracks are very similar.... If you like the music style of Absolum, then you can put a few tracks with their style (full-on , wicked French Stuff), but not too much. I suggest you combine this style with some Paps or Yumade, maybe add abit of bigwigs for a dark atmosphere, and abit of Magus for the crazy people. Protex... Guest Raider
Actually, it's surpose to have the same style and flow... *lol*
Guest Protex Midget
Yes, you're right, it has to flow. But people would get tired of dancing to the same tunes all night. I'm not saying that you have to change the entire tracklist, I just think you should use a few different styles, to make the mix interesting... Guest Raider
Ok, I usually do a mix with some twisted dark stuff at first, then the full-on style, and then complete the set with some funky & wild goa. Just wanted to see if it sounded good with the same style all way through.
Guest vasyachkin
hm... but why MD ? md is L A M E proprietary technology that has so many limitations that you would think they invented those problems on purpose.
Tatsu
i think md's are great. you can connect them easy to your mixer and they are cheaper than cd-burners that are designed to connect to a mixer. and if you don't mix a md but only record it with space between the tracklist then you can change the trackorder all the time. Tatsu
i meant "with space between the tracks" sorry.
Guest chris
Hi, you wanna mix Deedrah - Reload (GMS Remix) *and* Meathead Productions- The Big Ship together? Sorry but this is boring. Two remixes of the same track that's too much for a solid tracklist as well as 4 tracks of the same artist. You should look around more intensly for different stuff. Anyway full-on if you have different sub-styles rules :-) chris

Guest Jonathan Swayze
MDvsMp3vsCDvstape it all doesn't matter as long you get the system that makes the most sense for your needs!
