I was looking at the Denon DN-2600F. I'd like to get togetther with you so you can tell me what you think before I get them. Just let me know when you have some time.

Some of the high end pioneer stuff is really, really nice,

but avoid at all cost cheap gear, as often they will only allow you to use a specified mixer (which is normally shit, no kills, EQ's , or proper monitoring), won't have any shock protection, (so you can't use them where people are dancing(!?!?!?)) and the feature sets are rubbish, in that pitch shift and tempo CLAIM to be seperate but are not (at least not in any way that is acceptable)

Spend the most that you can reasonably afford.

Best for decent prices without comprimising quality - NuMark

Out and Out best - Pioneer - they did invent them!

Also if you are planning to use them in clubs, be prepared for a bad response, people think you are using Auto DJ all the time.

THAT really annoys me - are people there to listen and dance to music, or criticise the person playing it?

I never use Auto DJ, because it doesn't allow me the control, but if people do use it, so what?
