Guest Lusid Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Hey everyone, i got a little problem. I am trying to use logic to record my dj set, but it only records for 5 minutes. I tried to change the options which says something like record until external stop but it still only goes for 5 minutes. How do i make it record for like 70min. Also, when i try to burn songs i made in logic, i can only fit like 2 songs per cd even though there is sill plenty of room on the cd (each song is like 120mb). I burn them as .aif files so its a regular audio cd. Any ideas? Thanks Quote
Guest phlux0r Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Why don't you use soundforge for this or some other audio editor/app for this? Quote
Guest Lusid Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 I hadnt thought about it. I used to use soundedit 16, but now there is something wrong with it or the settings or something. I am not really good w/ computers. Where could i get soundforge? Is it easy to use? thanks Quote
Guest phlux0r Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Well it's certainly easier than Logic ... But it's not a simple shareware proggy either. It's a pretty sophisticated audio editing package (like photoshop for gfx). Have a look around the net (search for audio recording software)... Maybe there's a simple utility that alows you to record audio from your soundcard without a time/size limit... In soundforge you just press the record button... Quote
Guest daniel Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 hello! try cool edit pro its easier soundforge.. you can also record in to it and edit your stuff.. good luck.. Quote
Guest you Posted August 9, 2002 Posted August 9, 2002 there's a setting for maximum record length on logic but still if you're recording one long mix use soundforge or wavelab especially if you're on pc because logic is famous for 'asio system overload' messages every 10 seconds Quote
