Guest Cosmic Gopher
I started with fruity loops 1 back in 98 or 99. it was always considered a toy. Just used version 3. This sounds really good. I could make use of this program if I could only get it to run in Cubase the way reason does. Fruity loops is great but I use it as an instrument not a studio. I hear it can work with protools. Has anyone out there used fruity loops with Cubase? Is there some hacker who has written a code to fit the two together? Has anyone found a way to use it as an instrument that can be played in real time with a Cubas set up? Any info is huge help.
Guest Kiph The Elephant
I think you can use the FL 3.5 as a VST. I haven't tried it though.

Guest Reflekshun
haha i'm sick of sticking up for fruityloops too many of you peeps put it down tooooooo much. Whether a program sucks or not is your own opinion and there are many out there who love fruity including me TO ANSWER your question Cosmic Gopher, fruityloops 3.5 (just out) has full VSTi support. This means you can now use fruityloops as a VST instrument in cubase/logic, or any vst compatible program. They work in sync with each other.. It is a bloody great innovation from the fruity team! _|reflekshun:::...
Guest Scalar
Fruiy Loops is great!!! What more do you expect for the price??? ALL of my tunes USE fruity in one way or another... but trying to write a whole track in it? no thanks! If you can't come up with anything you like in it, thats more a reflection on you as a producer than fruity loops.
